Mónica Cruz Bio
Monica Cruz Sanchez is a Spanish dancer and actress who was born on March 16th 1977 in Alcobendas, Spain. She was born and raised in Spain and she is also the sister of Penelope Cruz who starred in the films Iron Cross and Jerry Cotton.
Monica is known for her 7-year long dancing career with the Dance Company of Joaquin Cortes. She toured with the dance company after graduating from college in 2002. Monica, as an actress, rose to fame on the Spanish television for her role in Un Paso Adelante. She is also known as the body double for her sister Penelope in the 2011 film Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides. Monica is best known for her work on The Final Inquiry (2006), Un paso adelante (2002) and Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides (2011).
