Monica Lewinsky Bio

Monica Samille Lewinsky (born on July 23, 1973 in San Francisco, California, USA) is a producer, actress, writer, activist, and TV Personality most renowned for Monica's Postcards (2000), Elvis Found Alive (2012), and American Crime Story (2016). She is also popular for her affair with US President, Bill Clinton, while she worked as an intern in the White House between 1995 and 1996.


She was portrayed on Saturday Night Live (1975) by Molly Shannon and on MadTV (1995) by Alex Borstein. Her interview with Barbara Walters became the highest-rated news program ever broadcast by a single network at that time.


She worked with Andrew Morton in writing her biography Monica's Story, published in March 1999. In January 2000, Lewinsky began appearing in television commercials. In February, she appeared on MTV's The Tom Green Show. She also started to work as a correspondent for Channel 5 in the UK, on the show Monica's Postcards. She participates in campaigns against cyberbullying and online harassment.
