Monster Truck Bio
Monster Truck is a Canadian hard rock band that was formed in 2009 in Hamilton, Ontario. The members of the band are singer and bassist Jon Harvey, Brandon Bliss on the keyboard, drummer Steve Kiely and guitarist Jeremy Widerman. They recorded their first EP in 2010 and distributed them themselves. In 2011 they signed with the indie music label Dine Alone Records with whom they released a second EP called The Brown EP. Singles “Righteous Smoke” and “Seven Seas Blues” became very popular on Canadian radios. In 2012 they toured around Canada with the band The Sheepdogs and opened several shows for Deep Purple. In 2013 they published their first album named Furiosity and achieved N°13 in the Canadian album charts. That same year they won a Juno Award as Breakthrough Band of the Year. They then toured around North America and Europe including the famous UK Download Festival. Their second album Sittin’ Heavy was released in 2016.
