The Montoya Twinz represent a popular duo born on September 12, 2000 in Clovis, New Mexico. While the twins were born in Clovis, New Mexico, they were raised and spent the majority of their youth and adolescence in Amarillo, Texas.
Mya, Myka, and their parents, Andres and Joanne Montoya, began splitting much of their time between Amarillo and Los Angeles, California during their adolescent years because Mya and Myka wanted to pursue the many more career opportunities available in the Los Angeles area that weren't available in the Amarillo area.
