Moon Taxi Bio
Moon Taxi is an indie-alternative rock band founded in 2006, in Nashville, Tennessee. The band was founded by Trevor Terndrup, Tommy Putnam, Spencer Thomson, Tyler Ritter, and Wes Baily, who all have met during their days at the Belmont University in Nashville. Their debut album called Melodica was released in 2007. After that, a live album followed. It took for four years for Moon Taxi to release their second proper album called Cabaret, while in the meantime they played at many gigs. In 2013 they released an EP called Mountains Beaches Cities which has helped them make their first appearance on the big screen. Moon Taxi appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, Conan, Late Night Show with Seth Meyers, and most recently on Jimmy Kimmel Live. They have released five albums in total and have performed on festivals such as Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo.
