Morgan Evans, born Morgan John Evans on the 24th of April 1985 in New South Wales and is an Australian country singer and songwriter. Dabbling in music from a young age, Evans was a member of a small rock band during his childhood in 2002, winning local competitions. Going solo in 2007, Evans created his debut EP Big Skies and continued releasing music, supporting artists such as Taylor Swift and Thirsty Merc in their Australian tours.
Coming to mainstream knowledge with his self-titled debut studio album in 2014, the album peaked at 20 in the Australian chats and more recently has released a single such as Kiss Somebody in 2017, which peaked high in Australia, and the artist followed this success with the next hit I Do. For his hit song Kiss Somebody, Evans won an ARIA Award for best Country Work of the Year.
