MorMor is a singer and songwriter born in 1992 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is widely recognized for his 2015 EP “Live for Nothing”. He was raised by his adoptive Mother and named himself “MorMor,” in reference to his grandmother. He had a passion for singing from a young age. He actually sang in his school’s choir and liked playing trumpet in a music group. He dropped out of college to follow his dream of becoming a musician.
MorMor released his first EP titled “Live for Nothing” in 2015. Three years later, he released another EP titled “Heaven’s Only Wishful” under his own label, Don't Guess. He was nominated for the SOCAN Songwriting Prize for his song “Whatever Comes to Mind” in 2019. He also released the following singles: “Waiting on the Warmth” in 2018, “Pass the Hours” in 2018, “Outside” in 2019, “Won’t Let You” in 2019, and “Don’t Cry” in 2020.
