Motion City Soundtrack Bio
Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, Motion City Soundtrack is an American band that performs alternative and indie rock. Although their lineup has changed throughout the years, the group currently consists of Justin Courtney Pierre on vocals, guitar, and keyboard, Joshua Cain on guitar and vocals, Jesse Johnson on the keyboard, synthesizer, and piano, Matthew Taylor on bass guitar and vocals, and Tony Thaxton on drums and vocals. The band was formed in 1997 by Justin Courtney Pierre and Joshua Cain, and they released their debut studio project I Am the Movie in 2003. Their discography includes the hit singles Everything Is Alright, The Future Freaks Me Out, My Favorite Accident, When You’re Around, This Is For Real, and the studio projects Panic Stations, Commit This to Memory, and Even If It Kills Me.
