Motshegetsi Mabuse, better known as Motsi Mabuse, is a South African-German dance, actress, and TV personality best known for dancing on reality shows. She was born in Mankwe, Bophutatswana, South Africa, on April 11, 1981.
After moving from her path to practicing law, Motsi began her dancing career in the late 1990s, but she became famous in 2007 when she joined the dancing cast of the German reality series Let’s Dance. In 2019, she became a judge on the reality series Strictly Come Dancing which features Aljaz Skorjanec, Janette Manrara, Pasha Kovalev, and Karen Hauer. Motsi has also appeared on the shows Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, The Graham Norton Show, NDR Talk Show, Kölner Treff, Das Supertalent, and Das fantastische Quiz des Menschen, and she acted in an episode of the drama series Das Traumschiff.
Motsi has amassed a large following on Instagram where she shares fashion, lifestyle, family, and dance content.
