Mount Kimbie is an electronic duo formed in 2008 by Dominic Maker and Kai Campos, in London, England. They met while studying at Southbank University, in London. The duo took the dubstep word by storm, when they started releasing a string of EPs like “Sketch on Glass” and “Maybes”. They released their debut album “Crooks & Lovers” in 2010, which got listed at number 22 in NME’s 30 Artists in 2011. They have played in festivals all over the world like Glade Festival, The Great Escape Festival, and Field Day Festival. In 2012, they signed to Warp Records, before touring alongside Squarepusher. The next year, they released their second album “Cold Spring Fault Less Youth”. The Guardian has described the duo as sound explorers as they went from heavy dubstep towards a lighter electronica, blended with gospel, R&B and hip hop.
