Movements Bio
Movements is an emo band from southern California. Inspired by bands like Title Fight and Balance and Composure, Patrick Miranda (vocalist) rounded up the usual cast of buddies from high school and ended up with Ira George (guitar), Austin Cressey (bass / rhythm), Spencer York (drums). They have a mellow indie sensibility combined with thoughtful subjects.
Movements has put out one album, “Feel Something” (2017) as of this writing and one EP. They’re signed to the Fearless records label. The album did well for a debut, Notching a #190 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. They were nominated at the 2017 Alternative Press Music Awards for “Best Underground Band” and played on the 2017 Warped Tour. they show a lot of promise from here.
