Mr. Real Bio
Okafor Uchenna Victor, also known as Mr. Real, is a Nigerian Afropop rapper, songwriter, and producer born in the 1990s in Abule-Egba, Lagos State. As a teenager, he adopted the stage name Real Self and formed the rap group Plantashun Boiz along with fellow rappers Faze and 2Face Idibia. After some collaborations with Klever, Jay, and Srikli, in 2017 he released his debut solo single “Legbegbe” featuring D’dbanj and Jaywon, reaching the top of the Nigerian charts. In 2018, the artist was nominated for a Headies award and won a Nigeria Entertainment Award. Victor followed up with singles in collaboration with CDQ, Slimcase, DJ Neptune, and DJ Lambo, and later signed with Sony. In 2019, the artist released the single "Onigbese."
