Muzz is a musical trio of Matt Barrick, Joshua Kaufman, and Paul Banks. The three were bonded by their long-term friendship and their passion and enthusiasm for classical rock. Their roots are not only deep but interconnected. Paul Banks was initially a singer of Interpol, Joshua Kaufman a multi-instrumentalist, and Matt Barrick, a drummer. They crossed paths and started helping each other in their individual projects.
The idea to form Muzz was born in 2014. They composed songs informed by their love for the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Leonard Cohen. They recorded songs in different locations, including Barrick’s Silent Partner Studio in Philadelphia. They have so far released many songs that have touched the hearts and souls of many people around the world, thanks to their love of music and determination to succeed in the music scene.
