My Brightest Diamond Bio

My Brightest Diamond is a musical band from New York, United States. The band was formed in 2006, and its members include vocalist/keyboardist Shara Nova, bassist/guitarist Chris Bruce, and drummer/programmer Earl Harvin. The band is a project of Shara Nova. She was a solo artist before going on hiatus and later renamed her project My Brightest Diamond. In 2006, the album “Bring Me the Workhorse” was released. In the fall of 2006, the band toured with Stevens in support of the album.

The band also contributed a cover of Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley's “Feeling Good.” In 2014, the band released a new album titled “This is My Hand.” The album reached number 5 on the Billboard charts. They also released the EP “None More Than You.” They released another album, “A Million and One,” the Rhyme & Reason records.
