My Dying Bride Bio
My Dying Bride is a band from Bradford, England. The band was formed in 1990, and its current members include vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe, lead guitarist Andrew Craighan, bassist Lena Abe, violinist/keyboardist Shaun MacGowan, guitarist Neil Blanchett, and drummer Dan Mullins. They released their debut single, “God Is Alone” on the Listenable record label. The single received many positive reviews and caught the attention of Peacevile Records.
They went on to release the EP “Symphonaire Infernus et Spera Empyrium” under the record label. This was followed by their first studio album, “As the Flower Withers” in 1992. This was followed by a tour of the UK and other parts of Europe. Their sophomore album, “Turn Loose the Swans” was released the following year. Other successful albums released by the band “Like Gods of the Sun”, “The Light at the End of the World”, “A Line of Deathless Kings”, “Evinta”, “A Map of All Our Failures”, and others.
