MyKayla Brooke Skinner Harmer is a former gymnast born on December 9, 1996, in Gilbert, Arizona, USA. She spent her college career with the Utah Red Rocks. Lisa Spini, Megan Marsden, and Tom Farden coached her. MyKayla trained at Desert Lights Gymnastics. She was the 2011 American Classic Junior Individual All-Around Champion.
MyKayla is a two-time NCAA champion (FX 2017, VT 2018) and two-time NCAA all-around runner-up (2017, 2018). In 2014, she was the US vault and floor exercise silver medalist. She was the 2016 Glasgow World Cup all-around champion and the 2015 US vault silver medalist.
MyKayla retired as a Senior International Elite on August 1, 2021. She won gold in four categories at the Pan American Championships and a vault silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. MyKayla won three team gold medals and a vault bronze medal at the World Championships. She has over 139,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, with more than 20 million views.
