Myles Christian Turner was born on March 24, 1996 in Bedford, Texas. He plays the center position for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He attended high school at Trinity High in Euless, Texas and played a season of college basketball for Texas(2014–2015). He was drafted in the first round as the 11th overall pick by the Indiana Pacers in the 2015 NBA draft.
He won NBA All-Rookie Second Team (2016), Third-team All-Big 12 (2015), Big 12 Freshman of the Year (2015), McDonald’s All-American (2014) and Parade All-American (2014). Turner also won a gold medal while he was representing the United States at the 2014 United States FIBA Americas U18 Championship.
