Nadiya Jamir Begum Hussain is an English-Bangladeshi chef, TV personality, and presenter who became famous in 2015 after winning the sixth season of The Great British Bake Off. She was born in Luton, Bedfordshire, England, on December 25, 1984. Nadiya became a household name in the UK after she won the sixth season of BBC’s The Great British Bake Off which also featured Alvin Magallanes, Ian Cumming, Tamal Ray, UgnÄ— Bubnaityte, and Marie Campbell. Nadiya has since appeared in the TV series The Big Family Cooking Showdown, Nadiya's British Food Adventure, The One Show, Time to Eat with Nadiya, Nadiya Bakes, and Nadiya's Fast Flavours. As an author, she has published the culinary books Nadiya's Fast Flavours, Time to Eat, Nadiya’s Family Favourites, and Nadiya's Bake Me a Story.
