Najee Harris (born March 9, 1998) is a running back for the National Football League's Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL). He schooled in Alabama, where he played college football and was selected by the Steelers in the 2021 NFL Draft.
He grew up in San Francisco Bay Area, his native town, before the family relocated to Antioch when he was in middle school.
He attended Antioch High School in Antioch, California, where he played high school football.
Harris raced for 2,263 yards and 23 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2014. As a junior, he raced for 2,744 yards and scored 36 touchdowns. He had 2,776 racing yards and 34 touchdowns as a senior.
Before he was Drafted into the NFL, Harris was simply unplayable compared to his college mates. He was the top recruit in the class of 2017 and was ranked No. 2 overall recruit by 247Sports, trailing only Jaelan Phillips, and No. 11 overall recruit by ESPN.
