Najib Amhali is a comedian and actor born on 4th April 1971 in Nador, Morocco. He is widely recognized for his comedy, which revolves around living in a multicultural society. Amhali started performing standup comedy in 1989 in cabaret festivals. He has also appeared in several Dutch products as an actor. In 1999, he appeared in the movie “Jezus is een Palestijn” alongside Kim van Kooten and Hans Teeuwn.
In 2002, he joined the cast of the Theo Van Gogh-directed television series “Najib en Julia”. Two years later, he starred in the film “Shouf Shouf Habibi”. In 2015, he appeared in the TV series “Bluf” alongside Achmed Akkabi. Besides acting, Amhali has also performed as a drummer. He has combined his comedy and music in some of his shows, including “Alles Komt Goed” and “Zorg Dat Je Erbij”.
