Nancy Evelyn Humphries (popularly known as Nancy O'Dell) was born on February 25, 1966 in Sumter, South Carolina, USA. Nancy bagged a Summa Cum Laude bachelor's degree in Marketing from Clemson University in 1990. In 1987 Nancy was named Miss South Carolina.
Nancy is an American television host and entertainment journalist and she is widely known as the co-anchor for Entertainment Tonight (an entertainment news show) from January 3, 2011, to August 2, 2019.
Nancy O'Dell began her career as a reporter and anchor at WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was honored by the Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Award (all media, South Carolina). She has covered high-repute events such as The Oscars, The Emmys, The Grammys, and The Golden Globe Awards. She also co-hosted a number of Pre-Show/Arrivals shows for The Emmys and the Golden Globes. She co-hosted the Miss USA 2005 pageant, and the Miss Universe 2005 pageant.
In 1998 Nancy got inducted into the state of South Carolina’s Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame in recognition of her journalistic success.
