José Fernando Reis (who’s also known as Nando Reis e Os Infernais) is a Brazilian bassist and musical artist who was born on January 12th 1963 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His parents were Cecilia Leonel and Jose Carlos Galvao. Nando rose to fame while he was the bassist, composer, and singer for Titas, the Brazilian rock band. He was also a member of the band Os Infernais. Some of Titas’ hit songs were written by him and they include Bichos Escrotos, Os Cegos do Castelo and Prá Dizer Adeus. Nando’s first solo album 12 de Janeiro appeared in 1995, and later the same year he released his second solo full-length Para Quando o Arco-Íris Encontrar o Pote de Ouro. Some artists that featured as guests on his second album include Barret Martin and Alex Veley.
