Nathanael Bargatze, also known as Nate Bargatze, is an American comedian, actor, and writer best known for his stand-up comedy. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, United States, on March 25, 1979. Nate made his TV debut as a stand-up comedian in 2007 when he appeared in the TV series CMT Comedy Stage. He has since made appearances on the TV shows The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, CBS Mornings, Laugh Factory, Larry King Now, Conan, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. As an actor, Nate appeared in the comedy series Maron alongside Marc Maron, Dave Anthony, Josh Brener, and Nora Zehetner. In 2019, he released his first Netflix comedy special Nate Bargatze: The Tennessee Kid.
