Nathaniel Eugene Burleson, better known as Nate Burleson, is a Canadian news broadcaster, football commentator, and former professional football player. He was born in Calgary, Alberta, on August 19, 1981. Nate spent his formative years playing for O'Dea High School and the University of Nevada, and he turned professional in 2003 when he was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round of the NFL Draft.
Nate went on to play for the Seattle Seahawks, the Detroit Lions, and the Cleveland Browns. Throughout his career in Detroit, he played alongside Matthew Stafford, Reggie Bush, Kris Durham, and Ezekiel Ansah. After his retirement, Nate has been a sports news reporter and commentator with CBS Mornings, Extra with Billy Bush, CBS This Morning, The NFL Today, and Good Morning Football.
