Nathan Chen is a figure skater who was born on May 5th, 1999, in Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States. He is of Chinese and American ancestry. He received his education from Yale University. He won the United States Junior Championship and the International Skating Union Junior Grand Prix in Mexico in 2013. He won the Grand Prix Final for 2017–18. After that, he competed in the team figure skating event at the 2018 Olympics and won the bronze medal. At the JGP Austria 2012 competition, he earned a combined score that was one of the best of his career: 222.0. Moreover, he established a new record by successfully completing five quadruple jumps in a single programme. Moreover, he and Ilia Kulik were both junior champion skaters in their respective years.
