Nathan Kress is an American actor and former child model. He was born on November 18, 1992, in California, U.S. He started his career very young, at age 15, when he played as Freddie Benson on the Nickelodeon series “iCarly”, which ran from 2007, to 2012. He made his first talk show appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, playing as a young Simon Cowell of American Idol. He also made guest appearances in more than 20 television series, such as “House MD”, “Standoff” and “Without a trace” Kress has also played in independent productions, such as the short film “Pickled, Magnus, Inc.” and “Bag”, for which he earned a 168 Film Festival Jury Award. In 2014, Kress starred in his first major movie production “Into the Storm”, a disaster movie directed by Steven Quale. He also has voiced over some characters in video games, such as Freddie Benson on “iCarly” and “iCarly 2: Join the Click”.
