Nayanthara Bio
Diana Mariam Kurien, widely known as Nayanthara, is an actress, producer, model, and TV host born in Bangalore, India, on November 18, 1984. She made her acting debut in 2003 as Gauri in the Malayalam film Manassinakkare, directed by Sathyan Anthikkad. She made her Tamil debut in Ayya (2005), Telugu debut in Lakshmi (2006), and Kannada debut in Super (2010).
Nayanthara appeared in Kalvanin Kadhali, Thaskara Veeran, and Ayya in 2005. In 2010, she won an Asianet Film Award for Best Actress for her role in Bodyguard. Her portrayal of Devika in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum won her SIIMA - Telugu Best Actress: Critics at the 2013 South Indian International Movie Awards.
She has won a SIIMA - Tamil, SIIMA - Malayalam, Ananda Vikatan Cinema Award, Edison Award, Filmfare Award - Tamil Film Industry, Filmfare Award - Telugu Film Industry, IBNLive Movie Award, Nandi Award, and IIFA Utsavam Award. Her acting credits include AK 62, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, and Idhu Namma Aalu.
