Nekfeu, born as Ken Samaras on April 3rd, 1990 in La Trinite, France is a rapper and producer that started his career while still in high school. He started several rap crews, such as S-Crew, 1995, and L’Entourage.
In 2010, under the S-Crew group, he released his first mixtape entitled S-Crew. After several open-mic contests, he increased his reputation in the underground Parisian rap scene. In 2012 he released his first EP Metamorphose under the S-Crew band and the group’s first album Paris Sud Minute. The album won Best Album of Urban Music and the prestigious Victories de la Musique award.
Under The Entourage band he made a name for himself as being part of one of the most influential rap groups of the French music scene through a series of rap battle called the Rap Contenders. They released their first album, Young Entrepreneurs, to critical acclaim. A live show followed the album release at the Olympia ended up selling out to a capacity crowd of 2000 people. He released his first solo album called Fire in 2015. The single “We Will See” has garnered over 68 million views on YouTube. The album was certified gold in July 2015. In 2016 he released his second solo album entitled Cyborg.
