Neko Richelle Case was born on 8th September, 1970 in Alexandria, Virginia, United States. She is a singer, songwriter, artist, composer, and performer. She is known for being a member of the Canadian group The New Pornographers. Pop, rock, and country are her musical specialties, and her style is alternative country-rock, alternative/indie rock, alternative singer/songwriter, adult alternative pop/rock, indie rock, and Americana. Some of her song highlights are “Furnace Room Lullaby”, “Favorite”, “Magpie to the Morning”, “I Wish I Was the Moon”, “Deep Red Bells”, “Knock Loud”, and many more. In 2001, she opened her own record label called “Lady Pilot”. In the movies, she is known for her work on “Hell Ride”, “The Astronaut Farmer”, “Tail Lights Face”, “One Mississippi”, etc. In 2009, she was nominated for 2 Grammy Awards for Middle Cyclone (Best Contemporary Folk Album & Best Recording Package), and in 2013, she was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album for “The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You”.
