Nemanja Bjelica was born in Belgrade, Serbia on May 9, 1988. He was the second round, fifth overall pick of the Washington Wizards in the 2010 NBA Draft. He serves as the power forward. He made his NBA debut on October 28, 2015. He signed a contract with Saski Baskonia for five years. He then played for Fenerbahçe Ülker, a Turkish team, and signed a three-year deal. While with the team he earned the EuroLeague MVP of the Month. He did not finish his contract, and he opted to play for NBA in 2015. He signed a contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves. In 2018, he signed a three-year deal with the Sacramento Kings which is worth $20.5 million. Aside from his NBA career, Bjelica has been part of the Serbian national team, and in 2010, he participated in the 2010 FIBA World Championship.
