Nia Long Bio

Nia Long was born October 30th, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York. She made her acting debut in Boyz n The Hood. In 2000, Nia received an Image Award for ‘Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture’ and was named one of People Magazine’s ’50 Most Beautiful People In The World.’ She has also won two additional Image Awards.

Nia is best known for her roles of Debbie in Friday, and Sherry in Big Momma’s House. She has also prolifically appeared in numerous films and television shows. These include Boiler Room, Guiding Light, Uncle Buck, The Divide, The Single Mom’s Club, House of Lies, The Cleveland Show, Big Shots, Are We Done Yet?, Are We There Yet?, Big Momma’s House 2, Judging Amy, Soul Food, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
