Virenia Peeples, better known as Nia Peeples, is an American actress and singer best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Hollywood, California, United States, on December 10, 1961.
Nia began her acting career in 1981 when she appeared in the TV series The Music Shoppe and the TV movie A Single Light. She has since had recurring roles in the TV series The Fosters, The Young and the Restless, Walker, Texas Ranger, Crisis Center, Courthouse, Fame, and Pretty Little Liars, which also features Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, and Shay Mitchell. Nia’s filmography includes I Don't Buy Kisses Anymore, North Shore, The Outside, Alaska Is a Drag, Blues Brothers 2000, and Half Past Dead.
She received an NAACP nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series.
