Nick Perry was born as Nicholas Joel Perry in Detroit, Michigan in April 12, 1990. He was the first round, 28th overall pick of the Green Bay Packers in the 2012 NFL Draft. During his rookie season, Perry played in six games. By 2013, he appeared in 11 games.
He re-signed a one-year $5 million contract with the Green Bay Packers in 2016. By the next year, he signed a $59 million, five-year contract with the Green Bay Packers.
Perry went to the University of South Carolina prior to pursuing a career as a professional football player. He was redshirted as the team’s defensive end during his first year. In 2009, he was part of the first team for the 2009 Football Writers Freshman All-American.
