Nico and Vinz Bio
Originating in Oslo, Norway, is the duo Nico & Vinz, comprised of Nico Sereba and Vincent Dery. They formed in 2009 under the name of Envy, and made their debut at the Emergenza Festival two years later. Envy then released their mixtape Dreamworks: Why Not Me. The garnered national fame with the release of their single “One Song” in the summer of 2011, which went to the #19 spot on the Norwegian Singles Chart. Their debut album was released in 2012, titled The Magic Soup and the Bittersweet Faces, which went to #37 in Norway.
In early 2014, the two announced their official name change to Nico & Vinz, shortly after they released the song “Am I Wrong” in 2013. The single went to #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 gained them international fame.
