Nielson Bio
Nielson is a singer and guitarist from the Netherlands. He was born Niel Littooij on 28 December 1989. in Dordrecht, Netherlands. Nielson went to the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht and it was here that he specialized in rap music. He was such a successful student, that he was asked to perform alongside the famous band The Opposites.
In 2009, he joined a trio called Zirkus Zirkus under the management of Nickelodeon. But the group split up after underwhelming success of their album In de Tent. In 2012, he released his first single titled Beauty and de Brains which received Platinum status. So did his 2013 release of the song Hoe.
In 2014, he released a music video of Sexy als ik dans under PaceMaker Music which garnered over 27 million views on YouTube. It’s a video of him singing in the middle of a square in Amsterdam with the public joining in on the fun and dancing. Nielson’s song IJskoud received more than 18 million views on YouTube.
