Nicholas Cowan, popularly known as Niko Moon, is a Sony Music Nashville pop singer and songwriter. He was born on September 20, 1982, in Tyler, Texas.
Niko Moon formed the band Sir Rosevelt with Zac Brown and Ben Simonetti, another Zac Brown Band co-writer, in 2016. A few years later, he gained global attention in 2018 when "The Bravest," a song from the band, was featured throughout the 2018 FIFA World Cup. It was a well-deserved recognition for the band, who had spent a previous couple of years delivering jams and after jams.
In addition to being a singer, Moon rose to prominence as a songwriter after co-writing songs such as "Heavy Is the Head," "Homegrown," and "Beautiful Drug" for Zac Brown Band. He also co-wrote the song "Back To Life" for Rascal Flatts with Cary Barlowe, Shaun Mooney, and Fred Wilhelm and produced the Zac Brown Band albums Jekyll and Hide and Welcome Home.
