Nina Garcia Bio
Ninotchka "Nina" Garca (born May 3, 1965) is a Colombian-American fashion journalist and the editor-in-chief of Elle magazine. She has been a judge on Bravo/reality Lifetime's television show Project Runway since its inaugural season.
Garca was born in the Colombian city of Barranquilla, the daughter of a wealthy importer.
She received her high school diploma from Dana Hall School in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and her bachelor's degree from Boston University.
She later attended Esmod (École Supérieure de la Mode) in Paris and graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising in 1992. (FIT).
