Nine Inch Nails Bio
Nine Inch Nails is a rock band formed in Cleveland, Ohio, United States in 1988. The group members are Alessandro Cortini, Robin Finck, Trent Reznor, and Ilan Rubin. While rock is their musical specialty, their style is alternative metal, alternative/indie rock, industrial, industrial metal, alternative dance, and alternative pop/rock. Nine Inch Nails is the face of industrial rock music of the ‘90s. Some of their song highlights are “Wish”, “Closer”, “Happiness in Slavery”, “The Hand That Feeds”, “Down in It”, “Head Like a Hole”, and many more. In 2014, they were nominees for introduction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In the movies, they are known for their work on “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider”, “Man on Fire”, “Doom”, “Lost Highway”, etc. Nine Inch Nails has a total of 10 Grammy Award Nominations and 2 wins. In 1992, they won a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for “Wish”, and in 1995, they won the same Grammy Award for “Happiness In Slavery”. They have also been nominated for a VMA Awards 4 times.
