Nish Kumar Bio
Nish Kumar is a comedian born in 1985 in Wandsworth, London, England. He is widely known for presenting the satirical sketch show “Late Night Mash” on BBC Radio 4 Extra. In the earlier days of his career, he performed with Tom Neenan until 2013, when he started his solo career. From 2013 to 2015, he appeared regularly on Josh Michael Widdicombe’s Radio X show. In 2015, he became the host of season 12 of the satirical sketch comedy show “Newsjack.”
In March 2017, Kumar’s series “Spotlight Tonight with Nish Kumar” debuted on BBC Radio 4. That same year, he appeared as a guest on the television comedy show “Frankie Boyle’s New World Order.” In 2020, he was named the host of the panel game show “The News Quiz” alongside Andy Zaltzman and Angela Barnes. He has also appeared in the panel shows “The Big Fat Quiz” Sweat the Small Stuff,” “Live from the BBC,” and others.
