Nneka Egbuna is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress who performs afrobeat, R&B, neo-soul, and reggae music. She was born in Warri, Delta, Nigeria, on December 24, 1980. Nneka began her music career in 2003, performing alongside artists like Sean Paul, and she released her debut studio project Victim or Truth in 2005. Her discography includes the hit singles Heartbeat, Book of Job, Shining Star, My Love, My Love, and the studio projects No Longer At Ease, Soul Is Heavy, and My Fairy Tales. Nneka was featured in the album The Best of African Music alongside Damian Marley, Akon, Denise Gordon, and Tate Simms.
