Noah Syndergaard was born in Mansfield, Texas on August 29, 1992. He was the first round, 38th overall pick of the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2010 MLB Amateur Draft. Syndergaard is also known as Thor, and he has been playing for the New York Mets since 2015. His current position is pitcher. He made his debut on May 12, 2015. He was an All-Star Game pick in 2015. He has also been the NL Player of the Week twice during his career. He committed to go to Dallas Baptist University in college and to play for the Dallas Baptist Patriots. In 2012, the Blue Jays traded him to the New York Mets. He made his debut in the major leagues for the Mets in 2015.
