Noam Murro was born August 16, 1961 in Jerusalem, Israel. He started his career in advertising and later went on to study architecture. He returned to directing and was nominated at the DGA Award six times, winning once in 2005. His debut as a director came in 2008 with Smart People, which was shown at the respected Sundance Film Festival. In 2011, he worked as a director for the popular film 300: Rise of an Empire. He is beginning to become more popular in Hollywood, and he is set to be a director and an executive producer on a miniseries titled Watership Down, which does not have a release date yet. He also owns a production company called Biscuit Films, which produces advertisements. Some notable ones are Nike, Adidas, eBay, and Land Rover.
