Noel Anthony Clark (popularly known as Noel Clarke) is an English actor, screenwriter, director and comic book writer. He was born on December 6, 1975 in London, England.
Noel made his debut in I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (2003) and rose to prominence when he starred as Mickey Smith in Doctor Who (2005–2010). As an actor and producer, he is known for Brotherhood (2016), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) and Mute (2018). He is one of the 25 actors to have acted in both Star Trek and Doctor Who.
Noel won the 2003 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Most Promising Newcomer of 2002 for his performance in Where Do We Live at the Royal Court Theatre. He was later voted the Best Male Guest Actor by readers of the Doctor Who Magazine for his acts in 2006. In 2009 Noel was awarded the BAFTA’’s Orange Rising Star award.
