Nosaj Thing is the stage name of Jason Chung, an American-Korean musician and record producer. He was born on the 27th of January, 1985, in Cerritos, California, U.S. He started making music as a teenager and by age 12 he was already composing electronic music. He took music theory classes at East Los Angeles College. In 2006, Chung self-released his debut EP “Views/Octopus” which grabbed the attention of major players in the electronic scene. He signed with Alpha Pup Records, and in 2009, he released his debut album “Drift” through their label. From 2012 to 2017, he released three more studio albums including acclaimed “Fated” in 2015. He has produced songs for established artists in the hip hop electronic music industry such as Kendrick Lamar, Flash Bang Grenada, Bus Driver, Nocando, and Chance the Rapper.
