Numan Acar is a Turkish-German Actor and movie producer born in Kozoglu, Kelkit in Turkey on 7th October, 1974. He moved to Germany in 1982, and became a civil engineer. After graduation, he started acting. His first movies were done in Turkey and Germany. Numan launched his company, "Acar Entertainment" in 2007, and produced German- Turkish films.
His first international movie role came in season 4 of the popular Tv series, "Homeland" as Haissam Haqqani. He reprised the role for the eight and final season of the TV series. Numan has starred in other international movies ever since, such as "Spiderman: Far from home," "Jack Ryan," "12 strong," and "Aladdin." The actor lives in Berlin with his family.
Numan Acar speaks many languages such as German, Turkish, Spanish, English, and a little Arabic. Also, he has knowledge of Kurdish, and Azerbaijani. He is a member of the European Film Academy.
He has worked with many award-winning directors such as Terry George and Guy Ritchie. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama Series (2015) at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
