O-T Fagbenle is a British actor, writer and director who was born on January 22, 1981, in London. He began his acting career in 2002 when he landed in two episodes of the longtime series “EastEnders”. He continued appearing in tv series, including “Casualty”, “As if”, “Hollyyoaks”, “Doctors”, “Miss Marple”, “Grownups”, “Little Miss Jocelyn”, “Quarterlife”, Doctor Who”, “FM”, “Material Girl” and “Quick Cuts”, until he got his breakthrough in 2014 as the writer and director of the science fiction and horror short film “MOTH (Man of the House)”, for which he ended up winning an award at the London Short Film Festival. His consolidation as an actor came in 2017, when he obtained and important role on Hulu’s series “The Handmaid’s tale”, starring Elisabeth Moss, Yvonne Strahovski and Joseph Fiennes. His interpretation of Lukas earned the actor a nomination at the 2021 Primetime Emmy Awards. He is also commonly known for his role as Mason in the blockbuster Marvel Studios 2021 film “Black Widow”.
