Okkervil River is an American indie rock band formed in Texas in 1998. The band is led by tunesmith Will Sheff who has remained as the single constant member of the band since its conception. The current lineup consists of Will Sheff, Cully Symington, Will Graefe, Benjamin Lazar Davis, and Sarah Pedinotti. Combining Americana and pastoral folk accents with rowdy rock and electronic pop music, the band reached from regional success to national fame during the 2000s. Their albums include “Stars Too Small to Use”, “Black Sheep Boy”, “The Stand In”, “I Am Very Far”, “The Silver Gymnasium”, and “Away”, all of which were critically lauded.
