Omar Rafael Chaparro Alvidrez, better known as Omar Chaparro, is a Mexican actor, born on November 26, 1974, in Chihuahua, Mexico. He is known as an actor in several popular TV shows, including La energĂa de Sonric'slandia and Sexo y otros secretos, and as a contestant of the reality shows Big Brother VIP 2 and Bailando por Mexico.
He made his film debut in 2004, starring in Punos Rosas. Many more films followed, such as Michael Berry's Stuck, Enrique Begne's Compadres with Roberts and Kevin Pollak, and Detective Pikachu, sharing credits with Ryan Reynolds and Justice Smith. Omar also starred in Nacho G. Velilla's No Manches Frida, which was one of the highest five grossing films in Mexico. The Mexican actor has won The Tree of Life award by the International Film Festival of Guadalajara in LA and the People's Favorite Actor for the Canacine Awards.
