Oneohtrix Point Never is the alias of American experimental musician, producer, and songwriter Daniel Lopatin. He was born on the 25th of July, 1982 in Wayland Massachusetts, U.S. From an early age he began to make music with a synthesizer that he inherited from his father, which he continues to use to this day for his music. He started releasing his work around 2007 under the alias “OPN”. In 2011, he released the album “Replica”. In 2013, he released his second album “R Plus Seven”, which received good reviews. His first memorable job came in 2010 when, under the pseudonym Chuck Person, he released the iconic Chuck Person’s Eccojams Vol. 1 in which he experimented with 1980s pop songs and replayed them remarkably slowly, creating the genre “Vaporwave”. In 2018 he released his album “Age Of”. Lopatin has collaborated with major artists such as FKA Twigs, Alex G and The Weeknd.
