Michael W. Eagle II, better known as Open Mike Eagle, is an American rapper and songwriter who performs hip-hop music. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on November 14, 1980. Open Mike Eagle began his music career as a member of the rap group Thirsty Fish, which he formed with Dumbfoundead and Psychosiz. He began his solo career in 2010 with the release of his debut studio project Unapologetic Art Rap. His discography includes the hit singles Ziggy Starfish (Anxiety Raps) featuring Gold Panda, (How Could Anybody) Feel at Home, Microfiche, Legendary Iron Hood, and the studio projects Anime, Trauma, and Divorce, Rappers Will Die of Natural Causes, and Brick Body Kids Still Daydream. He was featured on the album Adventure Time, Vol. 3 alongside Olivia Olson, Rebecca Sugar, Ava Acres, Jeremy Shada, and Hynden Walch.
